Genesis 18:14 “Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord?”

April 2013 Joel and I found out we were expecting our 4th bundle of Joy! We let God lead our lives in this area and were pleasantly surprised with the positive test!

Then off to announce it to everyone!! It was a bit of a shock to many in our family but if you hang out with us for 1/2 a minute you would know we {1} wanted a huge family! So off to the first appointment. Smooth sailing!!!!!!!! Then about 12 weeks into the pregancy I began to have some really bad leg cramps that turned into pregnant vericous veins:( can we say PAINFUL! But nothing that cant be handled right!!?? Then at my 17th appointment we were told I had Placenta Previa.. (a condition that would simply mean that would be born first and would cause SERIOUS complications, but detected before labor can be addressed by a c-section). Normally that would not affect most but I am a former C-Section patient who fought for two VBACS and was able to do so successfully! So when told

I had no option but to have a c-section it was devastating.. that was until the the next hurdle we were gonna have to face.. after we found we (after 2 ultrasounds) that we were going to have another little Princess Kent in our home.. (through a fun reveal party!!) We were told.. that there may be more complications….

I wanted soemthign different Everyone ALWAYS cuts the cake, or opens a box.. I wanted the kids to be involved SO we had our AMAZING friend aka Baker make 5 cupcakes one for each of us.. then on the count of 3 we all eat.. allowing the kids to be totally involved was super fun!

A Sunday in September I began to have contractions and was placed on total bedrest (notice picture: 3 kids under 6 and BEDREST:) HAHA!!  Major pain!!!!!!!! We were only 25 weeks….

At this time we had been having ultrasounds every 2 weeks and were repeatedly being asked if I was spotting (if yes that would mean straight to the hospital)

After this my Midwife called and said ‘Not to alarm you but we think there are some other things to be concerned about.. we think your placenta is attaching to your C-section scar’ UH NOT TO BE ALARMED!?!?!?!?

HA. HA. HA.

SO fast forward to today.. I now knew (after much research.. thanks google!) it was called placenta accreta. Which if IN fact I had it would mean a total hysterectomy.. I AM 30 YEARS OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not really what i had in mind…. Kinda puts the whole C-Section into perspective..uh?!?! I will gladly take that over this new hurdle.

Had first appointment today at 8:30 to talk about all the possibilities of the placenta accreta, and to schedule our c-section.. Dec 2nd at 7:30. Lots of emotions.. DUH!:)

Then off to the important specialist office to have a rescan of all the STUFF! The moment I laid down and the scan began.. the nurse said “well the placenta is no where near the cervix” (meaning it HAD MOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

MOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The doctor said there was NO WAY it could have done that but the funny thing is SHE OBVIOUSLY hasn’t met my GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had shared this with our family and friends and even today i posted on FB about needed prayer (something that is very rare for me) .. BUT I just knew God was up to something.. JUST DIDNT think that!!!

SOO after crying, and a bunch of ‘REALLY’ REALLY’.. Joel and I walked out of the office with ‘YOU HAVE A NORMAL pregnancy!’

SO NO C-SECTION & NO Hysterectomy—- UH AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Genesis 18:14 “Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you” NOPE NOTHING is too hard!! My God heals and Delivers!!!!!

And that my friends is why I am on CLOUD 9:)
